DESIGN CONCEPTS NOTEBOOK:
(This list parallels David Lauer’s text, Design Basics) Due: end of the day Dec 5th
Through the course of this semester we will explore a number
of design concepts. Keep your eyes open for popular magazine ads that effectively
illustrate these concepts. You are required to find a SINGLE ad image for each
of the design concepts listed below. Completion
of The Design Concept Notebook should be concurrent with the daily lectures and
reading assignments. Please don’t forget
this project is worth 138 points!
Once found, the ads should be NEATLY clipped from the
magazines and inserted into your notebook in a way that has a clean
appearance. The title of the topic and the
topic’s number should be typed and added to the page in a presentable
fashion. Creative variations of this
notebook are encouraged. See me for approval before hand. Note: I cannot grade notebooks that are not numbered and titled exactly
as listed below.
